Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day

oebius Syndrome Awareness Day is an annual event celebrated globally each year on January 24th — the birth date of Professor Paul Julius Moebius, the doctor who first diagnosed the condition in 1888.

Many charities and organisations support the day through awareness raising events and activities…. and always with a purple theme.

For MSAD 2027 we are encouraging supporters to join us for a Virtual Dog Jog or Virtual Big Fun Run on Sunday 24th.  Entries can be made through MyRunning.uk – but we’ll put the link up here and on social media as soon as things are organised.  In the meantime please contact Alison if you want to take part.

The day is led by the Moebius Syndrome Foundation who have lots of ideas and resources for raising awareness or funds. To support your own awareness or fundraising activities, download our MSAD posters. Info poster  Blank poster.
